Marlboro ATA Martial Arts meets Ralph Macchio and Martin Kove of The Karate Kid and Cobra Kai.
Senior Master Laurie Swanson is the owner of Marlboro ATA Martial Arts on the corner of Rt 520 and Route 79 in Marlboro NJ.
She is a huge fan of The Karate Kid movies and of the series Cobra Kai. She recently went to New York Comic Con with her husband, Kelsey Swanson. This Marlboro Karate kid finally met the REAL Karate kid, Ralph Macchio for the first time at the event. She also met Martian Cove who plays the character John Kreese. She remembers watching The Karate Kid movies as a kid and was always a huge fan of Ralph Macchio. She was over the moon excited that Macchio agreed to hold up a t-shirt with her martial arts logo in their picture so she could show all of her staff and students.
Senior Master Swanson has been doing Taekwondo for over 30 years. She is a 4x World Champion in Sparring competition in the American Taekwondo Association. Her passion is to make the children of her community into strong confident leaders.
